5106R/5107R YUM updates

YUM updates for BlueOnyx 5106R and 5107R have been released today.

The following YUM updates have just been released:

base-dns (5106R + 5107R):

The GUI pages that allow you to create or modify MX DNS records had an issue with the pulldown menu that allows to specify the mail server priority. Instead of showing various priority options ranging from "Very High" to "Very Low", it only showed the "Very Low" menu entry repeatedly.

The reason for this problem is outlined here and the GUI pages to create or modify DNS MX records have been re-created from scratch to get around the problem.

sausalito-palette (5106R + 5107R):

All GUI generated HTML pages had a trailing <HEAD><META HTTP-EQUIV="Pragma" CONTENT="no-cache"></HEAD> block at their end. Somewhere upstream this once had been added to get around a specific Internet Explorer problem, as some ancient versions of IE didn't honour the Pragma "no-cache" on documents shorter than 4KB. Unless the document also had a second <HEAD> block repeating that statement at the very end of the document.

This version if IE has since long been retired, so it's time to remove this redundant and non-W3C-compliant work around from our codebase.
