BlueOnyx 5210R Release Candidate

Posted by: mstauber Category: General

We are currently wrapping up the BlueOnyx 5210R release and a "Release Candidate" is now available for manual install.

The development of BlueOnyx 5210R has now reached a stage where we are comfortable with giving you access to a Release Candidate for testing and evaluation.

This release in its current stage is not considered error free or fully production ready, but it's close enough and subsequent YUM Updates will get it to that point. An ISO image for easy install of BlueOnyx 5210R is being rolled up and will be released in a few days.

Meanwhile: If you want to take a look yourself ahead of the ISO release, then feel welcome to try the manual install of BlueOnyx 5210R on top of an existing CentOS 8 install. Just follow the installation instructions and after executing three shell commands and a reboot later you should have a working BlueOnyx 5210R.

Should you encounter any bugs or errors in BlueOnyx 5210R (or its install procedure), then please let us know by filing a bug report via the GUI or by posting a note on the BlueOnyx mailing list.
