5210R/5211R/5212R update: Security, Stability, and a Smoother GUI
We’ve just published a major BlueOnyx update set (around 80 RPMs for each BlueOnyx version) focused on three things: security hardening, long-term maintainability, and day-to-day usability.
"Elmer" theme jQuery stack update
The core of this release is a full modernization of the GUI’s jQuery stack of our default "Elmer"-theme, bringing it up to modern standards for better security, compatibility, and maintainability. Alongside that, we included a broad round of compatibility fixes that address several long-standing interface quirks in real-world use.
What you can expect after updating:
- Modernized jQuery-based frontend stack across the GUI
- Improved security posture in core web assets
- Better browser compatibility across the admin interface
- Fixes for date/time pickers and tabbed page components
- More reliable rendering of charts/tables in statistics views
- General frontend stability improvements in several modules
- Updated package set prepared for cleaner maintenance going forward
- The previously somewhat quirky Email Statistics in the GUI now work with more reliability
This was a substantial housekeeping and quality release, and it lays important groundwork for future BlueOnyx improvements.
As always, we recommend installing updates promptly and verifying normal service operation after deployment.
